Hunters For Tomorrow Outdoors was founded as a non-profit organization with one mission in mind: to make outdoor education and experiences accessible to youth, regardless of background or income.

By operating as a non-profit (501c3), we’re able to focus entirely on impact, not profit. That means:

No Cost to Participants: Thanks to the generosity of donors, sponsors, and community partners, all of our hunting, fishing, and outdoor programs are free for youth participants.

Inclusive Opportunities: We welcome applicants from all walks of life. Our goal is to break down barriers and give every young person a chance to experience the outdoors, learn essential life skills, and grow in confidence.

Community-Driven Support: As a non-profit, every dollar we receive goes directly toward gear, safety equipment, food, training, transportation, and creating life-changing experiences for kids and teens ages 8–17.

Character Over Credentials: We don’t require a long resume or a list of achievements. Instead, we ask each applicant to write a short paragraph about why they want to be part of HFT Outdoors. We care about your story, your interest in the outdoors, and your desire to grow — not just your background.

Personalized Review Process: Each application is personally reviewed by our team. We take the time to understand every applicant’s motivation, goals, and personality. That means you're not just a name on a list — you're a potential part of our growing HFT family.

Focused on Access, Not Fees: Because we’re a non-profit, our programs are completely free. You don’t need to worry about high fees or expensive gear. If you’re selected, we’ll help guide you get what you need to succeed safely and confidently.
